A photo summary of what we have been up to:

Finally visited Manitou Springs when Wan Yin was in town.

Eating popsicle on a hot summer day and enjoying the play structure in our backyard.
It gets hot (90F) and then the summer thunderstorms comes rolling in. A little different from California where it nevers rains from mid-May to mid-October.

Our main summer vacation trip was to Michigan.

Whilst in Michigan we went camping at the US NPS Platte River Campground, and visited Sleeping Bears National Lakeshore. The NW area of Michigan is so beautiful.
We went canoeing and tubing down the Platte River which took us to Lake Michigan. It was a fun experience.

As I said before, this is what I miss about living overseas...all the endless fun and adventures!
