My girls

I love my two girls.

However it's a love-dislike relationship between the two now.

All the little ones to do is to be just like her big sister, and so she copies whatever Kat does. Unfortunately that does not go down so well with her big sister. There are times when she would actually cry and complain that she never wants a baby sister because they are so annoying.

But there are times like tonight where it makes me so glad that my girls have each other.
I dragged the single mattress into my room for the girls to sleep because my queen sized bed just cannot fit all 3 kids and myself on it any more.
The girls jumped into bed and tucked each other in. And this was what I heard:
C: "Jie-Jie! I need to tell you something.."
K: "What Chloe? What's wrong?"
C: "I'm scared.."
K: "It's OK. I'm here to protect you. Just go to bed and it will be alright"
And all this time Kat has her arms around her sister and they are snuggling facing each other.
Right now they are both snoring in each other's arms.... So sweet.

Don't worry... too soon, they will start looking out for each other.
When I was 6, I also found my sister annoying but look at us now... we work together but never get bored of each other!
That's also why in the earlier stages of my pregnancy, I wanted my 2nd child to be a girl. After all, every girl needs a sister! But now God has granted me a boy and I'm over the top too! Doesn't mean I'll jump at the opportunity to have a 3rd one, though...
