So yesterday we were at a mall in downtown SF, which is very nice, compared to other malls (nothing compared to the ones in KL though). And we headed to a shoe store. It was a very nice shoe store, which very ‘nice’ prices as well. A pair of kid’s shoes was listed for $55. Ouch! FYI, I can get good quality kids shoes for not more than $30, and most times less. Anyway, she saw a pair of pink sneakers, and unknown to us, asked the sales person to try on a pair her size. Horrors! She knows what to ask for! Anyway, we did not buy that pair of shoes. It was of really good quality, so I shall see whether I can buy them for cheaper online.
Ah, I missed out one more note about Kat. She loves makeup. Love, loves, love.. She will ask me for eye-shadow and after I put it on her, she looks at herself in the mirror and bat her eyelashes. And if I did not put enough i.e. she can’t see the sparkle, she will complain. So at the cosmetic counter yesterday when I bought a product, she asks me to get the sales person to put on some eye shadow for her. Sigh..
Here are some pictures of her:

Kat and her daddy. She is her daddy's girl.

Oh yes, you might have noticed that Kat has a new haircut. Her favorite hair stylist, Auntie Amy, decided that this will be a good look for her since summer is coming. I forgot to mention that she gets discounted or free haircuts, and also tapioca pearl tea every time just because Auntie Amy loves her to death!!

Sophie is the exact opposite of Kat. She hates skirts or dresses or frilly things of any sort, and lives in her pants all day, every day. Definitely glad she's not into make-up yet, though.
But then, she's only 2.5... so maybe one day... gulp!
