Finally found the time and effort to dust the cobwebs off this blog and to type up a new post.
We do hope you all have been doing well.
It's April 1st, and I shudder to think that the first quarter for the year has gone by so quickly.
My little one is now walking and can now be considered a toddler, I guess.. OMG! Everyday brings more mischief and headache for us. Especially grandma, who has now thriumphly announced that running after Chloe has made her lost 6 pounds already in a mere span of 2.5 months. And I do believe her as her clothes are looking kind of lose on her already :-) Heck, lugging a 19 lb child around is quick a workout.
And that same little one, who will turn one in less than 2 weeks, has recently found that screaming is an excellent way to get some attention and to get what she wants. Going out to eat is getting harder now. And so we have instead decided to throw a small party for her at home to celebrate. I will attempt to make an allergen free muffin for her.
For those of you who are wondering how she is doing with her allergies, well, she is doing OK.
She is on a prescribed hypoallergenic formula from the UK, and thank goodness is taking that well. Unfortunately, that formula is creating quite a big dent in our wallets. A case of 4 cans cost US$139, and that last for about 12 days. So total formula costs for one month i.e. 2.5 cases, amounts to US$350. Whew!!
Her diet right now is still mainly formula, with 2 meals of rice or oat porridge with the limited OK foods. For example, prunes, turkey, sweet potato, applesauce, pears, chicken, broccoli. She is allergic to legumes i.e. peas, green beans and soy. And she also reacts to berries and plums.
Ok.. enough about Chloe.
My next post will be about Kat instead :-)
But here are some recent pics of the toddler.

Playing at Allison's birthday party. Her god-father, Richard is peeking behind the block.

Having a really good time on the rocking chair. She protested very verbally when we had to change rooms halfway.

With grandma at 'yum-cha' one weekend in February.
Chloe walking :-)
