As usual, we brought out the girls' traditional lanterns out of storage for this special day. And they were, as always, so excited to see them. Thankfully Mommy knew exactly where the lanterns were, and didn't have to rummage through the boxes for them. I still had a pack of paper lanterns I bought in California, and A got to hold one of them this year. Grandma has promised to buy him a traditional lantern too next year so that he doesn't feel left out.
We got lucky to get a nice night out, and we could do our little 'parade' with our lanterns. The kids love playing with our neighbors, and so we invited them the join us. I think they were quite excited to be invited to a lantern parade.
