I am finally playing my digital keyboard again. For the longest time, all I did was complain that I didn't have anything to play. I don't play the piano by ear, and so I cannot just play a song. I need to read notes. Hubby finally got so tired of listening to my excuse, he said "Just go buy some piano books!"
So I did :) I was super excited to get my Richard Clayderman piano books in the mail. I love, love, love Amazon. And free 2-day shipping!
I have been trying to play everyday, even if it is only for 10 minutes. That's as much as I can fit in before the kids hijack the keyboard again :) But those 10 minutes are very relaxing for me.

You should thank ma more as she was the one encouraging (pushing) you and ferrying you to the music classes and to the tests, all the way up to Grade Eight. For me, I just wanted to give my children the opportunity to learn music which I didnt have as a child. Do continue to enjoy playing the piano as often as possible and pass on your talent to your children.
Oh man, Richard Clayderman!! That brings back so many high school memories!!
