Summer is here!

School is out, and I am liking the weather we are finally having.

It is still quite unpredictable though. One day it will be in the 80s, and the next rainy and windy in the 60s. We just realized how spoilt we were with the California weather because we know there will definitely will be no rain from about mid-May onwards to about Halloween time. We should have camped and hiked more when we were there.

Here in Colorado, we have summer thunderstorms, usually in the late afternoons. Hubby was supposed to seal the seams of our new tent, since we are going camping soon. But he did not because he got busy/lazy. I am just praying the rain stays away during our trip!!! A wet Mommy, is not a happy Mommy ;-)

I have nothing scheduled for Kathryn before our trip. We are just enjoying our neighborhood parks, the play structure in the mall, the library, etc and her weekly gymnastic class. After we get back, she has swim lessons and an art camp scheduled for. I think the summer is going to fly by!
