No one told me March and April are the months with the most snow here in CO.
The weather has been quite bizarre for us.. sunny and mild one day, and cold, windy and snowing the next!
Anyways, I had made reservations for a weekend trip to the YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch close to Winter Park, CO. I was thinking it might be the last time for the kids to play in the snow before warmer days arrive. How wrong was I!
It was a great weekend away. It is a 3 hours drive, and the kids were behaving for both trips. I thank god that Aiden did not scream and cry, other when he was sleepy and only for a couple of minutes. I love him at this age. Will have to write more about what he is up to nowadays.
Kat had a Nordic ski lesson and went ice skating. The girls went swimming with their daddy after dinner, which was a good Chinese dinner. Got to love a heated indoor swimming pool :-) We also had lots of fun tubing down the hill. Best of all, other than the ski rental for Kat, the activities were included in the room rate!
We came back from the trip, and guess what?
A snow storm came through on Wednesday! We were snowed in and the kids watched a lot of TV. Hahaha! We didn't have to drive 3 hours to play in the snow :D
It was nice and sunny after the storm, and so the girls had fun in the snow again.

It's nice your girls have each other to play with. Tyler has to wait for mommy to play with him!!!
