It's nice to be back

It's been 5 years since I have been home and boy has things changed.

Lots of freeways and flyovers makes driving a little bit more of a headache. Though the GPS in my dad's car certainly helped. Thank you dad for loaning us your new 7-seater car for our use.

Anyway, back to the development in KL. The whole Mutiara Damansara, the Curve, Kota Damansara area is all new to me. 7 years ago, I remember going to that area with some friends to look at some showrooms there and development was just starting. And now it is fully developed with crazy traffic to boot. Aiks!!!

It's been so nice to catch up with friends and family. We got to see our nieces that we have never met before. There was also friends that have married and have little ones of their own. Well, we did come back with 3 of our own :-)

We made a trip up to Penang and enjoyed a 3 day beach vacation at the Hard Rock Hotel. And of course we enjoyed the Penang food.

We also celebrated Kat's birthday in KL. Her aunties organized and paid for the party. Thank you for doing that! Kat and as well as ourselves had a great time at her party.

Now I am just chilling in Ipoh. Enjoying some relaxing time with the 2 younger ones and with my parents. My list of to-eat food is still not done yet, so that will be my task for the next 2 weeks :-) Plus some shopping too. Oh yes... and my cousins wedding this Saturday, so that will be a big family affair.
