My drama queen

Highlight of this evening:

As usual, I am up in my bedroom nursing Aiden to sleep. That is his habit - Mommy is his personal pacifier, and that is the only way he will go to sleep. Not only that, after he is down he needs to be put down on my bed.

Anyways, in storms Kat:

"Mommy! The tv is not working. There's something wrong with the cable box."

Me: "Go check to make sure the cable box is on"

So she shuts the door and goes downstairs.

One minute later, Kat is bawling like it is the end of the world...

"Mommy..sob, sob.. Chloe played with the control....sob, sob... Now the TV won't work!.. sob, sob.. It can't be fixed!.... sob, sob...I tried!.. Sob, sob...."

Argh.... So I put Aiden down and try to fix it. Nope, there is something wrong with the cable box. And this whole time, Kat is crying hysterically behind me. Then Chloe starts to cry too. Aiyaiyai!!!

What happens? Both girls got a scolding, and I had to call the help desk (which didn't help).

Thankfully after the scolding, they both behaved and went off to bed. But in the mean time, Aiden woke up crying. Sigh...
