My daughter eats sand. Yuck!

My almost 2 year old ate sand today. Yuck!!

I took her out to the nearby playground since it was not as windy and it was a sunny bright day.
I got there and was disappointed to see that it sand on the ground. Should have expected it as sand is something that NM is not short of. Haha! Well, I was looking forward to it all being covered by the child friendly spongy material (whatever it is called)

Anyways, I was busy on my phone trying to call someone about some classes for the girls. So I was watching her play when suddenly I see her scooping up a fistfull of sand and then quickly stuffing it into her mouth. Argh!!!!!

She didn't like it and was quick to spit it all out too. But that marked the end of play time for her.
Thankfully too because I was so tired of watching after her. My little dare devil was climbing up and down like a monkey and did not want me to hold on to her. Sigh... Would need to find a toddler friendly playground next.

Right now, I am thinking of what to do for her birthday next week :-)
Yes, she turns 2!
Will definitely take her and her sister to get a haircut, and then most probably to the iExplora museum. Will compare that to the San Jose Children's museum which the girls love.
Then I promised Kat that we will make cupcakes for her sister.
Oh, and hubby wants to go to the oriental market again. Should be a busy weekend...
