Big changes

Hi all,

Sorry for the long silence. But we finally unpacked the modem and got wifi set up in our new place.

Yes, we have moved :-)

I don't think many of you know this, but hubby got a promotion (yay!).
But his new job is in Albuquerque, New Mexico. For those in Malaysia, we are still in the US of A. Haha! My parents initially thought I was moving to Mexico!!

So we packed up the whole house, said our good-byes to the Golden State and flew into the Land of Enchantment about 2 weeks ago.

And when I say pack up the whole house, it was the weirdest feeling seeing all our belongings (including the 2 cars) packed into a 48-foot truck. Our stuff was going on a 2 day road trip and met us here in ABQ.

Seeing our home empty made me a little sad. We have such good memories of that house. It was our home - where we brought both Chloe and Aiden home from the hospital to; where we had gatherings with our friends; our sanctuary....

Anyways, this is our new adventure now. I haven't explored anywhere yet, other than checking out the oriental market the very first day we arrived :-) So many boxes to unpack and put away. The place we are renting right now is 2200 sq ft, which I realized is a whole lot bigger than our 15o0 sq ft home in CA. No more stuffing things away in closets!

Anyways, we still have a lot of stuff to sort out. I am in a middle of a panic attack right now, because I just found out that our insurance coverage was abruptly stopped in the middle of March, probably due to some admin thing with hubby changing regions. Sigh.. And Aiden had gone for his 2 months check-up after then, and that bill is close to $700 without insurance. Yikes!!!

Will try to write more tomorrow if my Internet doesn't act up on me again :-)

No pictures yet because I have yet to find my download cable. Still more boxes to unpack.
