Hubs woke us up at 6.30am and was pushing us out the door as soon as possible.
We ended up leaving the house at 7.30am.
Our aim? To get to AOS before 8.30am, and we made it in time. It was members only that morning from 8.30am to 9.30am (when AOS opens for the public).
Guess what we saw? I long line of members standing in the cold, cold foggy morning. Yikes! And that was the members line (which we are). And so we got into line...
The girls and us had a great time there. Unfortunately there was a new rule, and they did not allow kids under 6 in the planetarium any more. So instead we went to see a documentary about bugs in 3D. Kat enjoyed that very much, whilst Chloe was busy going up and down the stairs in the auditorium :-)
Then it was off to the aquarium to see all the different fishes. This was Chloe's favourite part of AOS.
After a quick brunch, we ventured around the other exhibits in AOS. Very cool. Did I mention the AOS has a living roof? Yup, there is grass growing on the roof. The AOS building is one of the greenest building in the world.
We found a play area for kids 0-5 yrs, but because hubby had a lunch appointment at Little Italy in the city, we couldn't stay to play. But we hope to be back soon. Just have to wake up very, very early in the morning to get in line. Sigh....
Here are some pics.

Family pic on the living roof (OMG.. I look so chubby here)
