Rock and Roll!

My baby is rolling :-)

Over the last couple of weeks, she has been scooting her tushy up in the air and well, scoot.. She can change her position that way.

And this evening when I was back from work, she rolled over 360 degrees for the first time! Yay! So proud of her. And so funny just watching her trying to figure out how to roll from her tummy to her back. She has long mastered the rolling from the back to her tummy (only on her right side though), and now she has figure out the other way.

So this means I have to push the couch back to give her more space in the living area.
And also means that I have to baby proof the house again. Lots of not so good looking bumper thingies to put up.

But anyway, we had a very eventful weekend again.
Went to the city (SF) again on Saturday. We went there earlier in an attempt to go to Chinatown to get some grub, but Hubs did not want to get his car valet parked in the Chinatown parking garage, and we could not get street parking. No mooncake from Golden Gate Bakery this time too.
So by now (11-ish) my husband was hungry and grouchy. We went back to SOMA (South of Market St) to the California Academy of Sciences where we were meeting up with some friends. We ended up eating at this little cafe/bakery couple doors down.
Had a really good time there looking at wierd fishes, and other sea creatures, and playing in teh kids area.

Then it was off to Japantown for some noodles - ramen, soba, udon. Yummy.
Well, I only had white rice with tempura vegetables (without the crunchy tempura layer i.e. I had plain veges). Thankfully I brought a stash of my allergen-free cookies to snack on.

Turns out that it was the 50th anniversary of the SF/Osaka friendship, and so they had a fair going on. The kids and us enjoyed the drum presentation and the games. And the ice cream :-)

Then on Sunday, it was errand day in the morning, and in the afternoon we visited Barni and Steph, who just had baby Katelyn. So cute.. It was just a fun evening of food and laughter. Chloe got to checkout all of Katelyn's toys.

Let's see what we will be doing this weekend...
