A conversation about cars

Was on our way to South SF to hang out by the pool and at our friend's place when hubs and I had this conversation:

Hubs: "So xxx got a BMW X3. What car does yyy have?"
Me: "X5, I think"
Hubs: "How about zzz?"
Me: "A BMW and a Mercedes"
Hubs: "Hmm.. how come most of our friends from Malaysia are buying BMWs and Mercedes to drive?"
Me: "Probably because they think they won't be able to afford those cars back home. It's so much cheaper here"
Hubs: "So how come you only bought the Honda Pilot? Don't you want to drive a BMW?"
Me: "Don't have the urge or need to buy. I'm content with the Honda."
Hubs: "If that is the logic, maybe I should go buy a Hummer since I probably would not be able to afford one in Malaysia."
Me: "What?! That gas guzzler? We are supposed to be environmentally friendly"
Hubs: "I already did my part! We have the Toyota Prius hybrid. So now I can compensate by getting another car that is not 'green'"
Me: "Aiyoh"... Headache.

He is still talking about buying cars after he just got his min-cooper!! It never ends with guys and cars, does it?
