2 months old!

My little one is 2 months old :-)

Went for her well-check this week, and here are her statistics:
Weights - 10 lbs 8 ounces
Length - 22.5 inches
(Please don't ask me what they are in metrics term. I have long not used them!)

She is cooing, smiling, laughing and is just a joy to have.

However, that little bump on her head due to the doctor vacuuming her out is still there :-(
Her doctor says that it will probably not go away, and will just hopefully round out more.
Chloe - I hope you have more hair than your sister's. Maybe you will have Daddy's set of hair, instead of mine.

Though is has gotten rather hot these couple of days and without AC in the house we are trying our best to keep her comfortable. It might be soon that hubby has to install the portable AC sitting in the garage right now.

Why do we not have AC? Well, because our home is more than 30 years old, and only newer homes in the bay area have central AC installed. The cost of installing one will amount to about 4-5k. Hmm.. after the recent remodelling of the kitchen, bathrooms, and the back yard, I don't think we will be doing anything major to the house sometime soon. Added to the fact that we are going home to Malaysia this year-end, and so that will be another expense there.

I am still on maternity leave. Only 2 more months before I have to get my little tushie back to work. Oh, I am so not looking forward to it.

Geez.. might have to buy a whole new work wardrobe because I don't think I can fit into any of my pants. Ack!! Why is there so much more weight to lose even after the baby is out already??? I guess it's because lazy me did not get any exercise at all when I was pregnant,a nd was happily eating away. Those weekly team lunches did not help one bit! Hubby is jealous that I constantly have team lunches :-)
