Kat's birthday

Kat is 2.

Hooray! What a celebration!

Actually, it was a very quiet affair. We had planned a birthday party at the Gymboree play place where she used to go (still is on weekends). Paid 50% of the cost as deposit and also ordered and paid for the cake as well.

And then on her birthday, Kat fell sick. Really sick.
I came home from work a little earlier than normal with the intention of going out to dinner to celebrate, and then my mom tells me that Kat has been feeling out of sorts. She started running a fever and then threw up twice that evening/night (on our bed, no less).. So we had to cancel the party. Hubby and I did not even go to my company's year-end party that night because Kat was so sick and we didn't have the heart to leave her.

Turns out she has an ear infection, and so she's on antibiotics now. No updates non her weight and height yet because her check-up is next week. Will tell you all about her statistics then. For now, she's home with grandma and not in school.

On another topic... did anyone see the latest episode of CSI? It's about this woman who download pics of this little boy and pretends this boy is hers. So scary!! I definitely need to put a watermark on the pics I upload on our website now. What program should I use? Anyone has suggestions?

Oh.. forgot to tell you that we managed to get back the 50% of deposit from Gymboree when we told we had to cancel because Kat was sick. It was so nice of them..

Alrighty.. almost 9 am. Definitely have to start work now.
