I have been having this massive headache for the longest time.
Preschool/Day-care searching has taken a toll on us.
We still have not found something we 100% like yet, and time is ticking.. I'm scheduled to start work in November. Oh No!
Schools are like not up to our standards, or they are extremely expensive (to the point that i might as well not work and have another child now).
I have eliminated the thought of sending Kat to a fmaily based daycare. I'm just more comfortable with her being in a school environment, where there is a fixed lesson plan and activities. You never know how these individuals are because they account to no one.
I know, she's not even 2 (which is the minimum age for some schools). But seeing how much she likes playing with other kids when we go to visit and to think how much more she can learn there, we think she is ready.
I will be visiting one tomorrow morning, but the minimum age is 2 years old, and right now there isn't any openings in december. But isn't that a good sign? I mean, when the place is so popular that you need to be on a waitlist.
Well, will tell you more of how the school hunting goes. Thank goodness Grandma is here as a backup plan. :)
