Kat had a boo-boo

Kat has had an accident.

Well, it is actually Mommy and Daddy faults as we were the ones swinging her at the time. She ended up with a tiny-little hairline fracture at the wrist.

It hurted us all. Kat, of course, because of the pain. Mommy and Daddy hurt emotionally seeing her going through her pain and trauma.

The trauma part has to do with doctors. Kat does not like doctors. Period. If she sees anything to remind her her doctor visits, she will scream her head off. So you can imgine how much crying she did when she had to see her pediatrician, get her x-rays done, then back to the ped, and then off to the specialist. On top of top she had to get her arm cast all the way from her wrist to her elbow. Ooi... it was not a good day for all of us.

Then she kept asking us to take the cast off. "Mommy... stuck.. help" Aiyaiyai...

But little kids can be so adaptable.

By the next day, she was using her left arm to do things she normally did with her right. she even went to sucking her right thumb. I had hoped instead that this will wean her off from sucking on her right thumb. Nope.. to the left it is. The cast was just part of her arm.
