Happy Birthday, Hubby/Daddy

Dear Hubby turned 29 last week. His last birthday before the big 3-0.

But sadly there was not much celebration. He stayed in the city for some office thingy the night before, and had to work on his birthday. So he was only home for dinner. I had grand plans to make him cheesecake, because it was his favourite and then go out for a nice dinner. Was also planning to make laksa lemak on the weekend for it.

However Kat had other ideas. She was so fussy that night hubby was gone.. She was waking up almost every other hour. Poor dear was having a tummy ache because as you all know she was problems with going poo-poo. Boy, were we cranky the next day.

Hubby got back home expecting big plans, and found the house in a mess with his wife all tired out, and his kid cranky because Mommy didn't have enough energy to entertain her. Dinner was just take-out Thai food. :(

Sorry, hun. Will make you a nice surprise dinner one of these days.
