Mother's Day Weekend (part 1)

Happy Mother's Day to all you Mommies and Grandma's out there. I hope your weekend was spent with the ones you love and was filled with wonderful memories, with more to come.

I, certainly had a good weekend. It started on Saturday: Hubby said that he had to work this weekend because of some deadlines at work. Bummer. As I didn't want to be stuck at home with the weather so nice, Kat and I went up to the city to have some fun at a childrne's gym there. She's already signed up at her own gym here, but our friends' kids are enrolled at this one in the city, and they were having free open play for anyone. So why not?

After about an hour of playing, we decided to meet dear hubby at his office. Called him and turns out he was still home! He decided to sleep in instead. What!? But he did meet us at his office and then we had lunch (thai, yummy) and just walked around the shops. Ice cream was good too.

We then dropped hubby back at the office, while I drove Kat home. But the weather was just so nice, that I could not resist stopping at the park where hubby and I got married. And so happens it was feeding time for the animals. We helped collect eggs from the chicken coops, and watched as others feed the pigs, sheep, cow, etc. I didn't want to get either Katt's or my hand dirty because we would need to thoroughly clean them. Katt is still a thumb sucker. That is a story for another day.

As we were leaving, I got a call from hubby, who was already home! He also did not feel like working because the weather was so.. nice. After that, Katt went back home for her nap, and we just relaxed at home. Ah...
