Daddy and Kat time

It's nice to have some time alone.

Sweet hubby has been taking Kat out on outings on his own, so that I can have some 'me' time. It's not very long. Sometimes, just a half-hour errand or maybe about 2 hours to do other stuff. Being a full-time mommy does not come with a guaranteed vacation time, like you do if you work for a company. So these little time alone refreshes me.

I enjoy Saturdays when he takes her for her gym class. I get to do whatever I want. And even if it's just doing cleaning around the house, it feels so good because I don't have my daughter looking for me every once in a while. It's either she wants to see Barney (which is very often!) or she wants to go out, etc.

Well, Kat is not that needy. But she will look for me after while if she doesn't see me around. I guess she just likes to reassure herself that I am there for her.

But I appreciate that my hubby let's me sleep in on the weekends, and also during the weekdays. He will get Kat her bottle of milk and watch her until he absolutely needs to go off to work.
