Day Out in the City

It was gorgeous day in the city.

Kat and I were there with some friends and their kids to attend hubby's company's launching of a new kids channel. We knew there would be some cartoon characters around to take some pics with, but we didn't expect it to be sooo.. good.

Firstly there was a lunch bag for each child. It was filled with a sandwich, milk or juice, cookies, mixed snacks, etc.. very yummy and good for you. Then the show started. The kids had such a good time. You should here them go wild when Barney showed up. After the show, there was face painting, balloons, etc.

When we were going out, there was another surprise. There was a goodies bag waiting for us. Yay! It was filled with DVDs, books, stuffed toys, etc.

Well, we then headed to Chinatown for some yummy lunch and dessert. It was a very fruitful day indeed.
