Constipated

Poor Kat has been constipated these couple of days.

It's been really warm and she has been drinking less milk, and not a lot more water. Hence a bit of 'heatiness' as the chinese would say.
Grandma did boil some barley water for her, as it is suppose to be cooling (yin and yang)

Anyway, one morning, Kat was so constipated that she was in pain. My poor baby was crying and calling 'MaMa', 'Mama'... tears streaming down her face. I felt so bad for her. All I could do was hold her while she tried to go do her business.

She finally did, but only after we gave her an enema. I hope I never have to do it, ever again.

Just came back from shopping. She does not like prune juice, so have resorted to giving her prunes from the jar.
