Back in the rat race... Nearly

Well, as most of you know, I have not been in the work force for 2 years now. That long already?? I know.. time flies. I got married and had a wonderful baby. Not that I didn't look for a job. It's just that circumstances were such that I didn't work.



Firstly, my friend Yin finally pushed me to send her my resume for her company. Within a couple of days a got a phone interview, and then an actual interview, where I was then was offered a job. Yay!!! I was so thrilled about working again and getting some extra income as savings for the family. I was already thinking about shopping for my work clothes, etc... Life is good.



Then the company called. They didn't get the paper work in time to apply for my work visa, and the quota has already been filled. Crushed.... I can't work till next October. Day dreaming over.
