Eventfull week

It's been a busy week. I haven't blogged for quite awhile. Hubby has been asking me how come the blog have not been updated :)

So what have we been up to? Well, a short summary:

  1. Labor Day weekend - Went up to Chinatown to buy mooncakes cause the lantern festival is coming soon. Met a friend there for lunch. We were late... as usual :) We then went to see baby stuff, and ended up buying a stroller, booster seat and was to buy a new car seat for baby. Whew.. All we wanted was to have a look at the strollers. We didn't realize that Kat needed a new car seat so soon, but apparently she does! Anyway, we did return the stroller and booster seat a few days later, cause we found ones for cheaper on the internet. Then it was off to yummy Burmese food. Finally! Cause it's been 2 years since hubby said he will take me. AhHa.. the night was not over yet, cause it was off for some ice cream and then poker till late at night. The next day, it was fairly relaxing. We went for a swim with a couple of friends and their kids. Check out Kat's Ofoto album for pics.
  2. During the week, we got free tickets to see the Oakland A's baseball match against the Boston Red Sox. We brought Kat along since no babysitters were available, and we have not brought her to a game before. It went pretty well, as she lasted for 6 innings before she really had to go home to sleep. She knocked out in the car!
  3. Busy shopping around for houses. The housing market here is crazy! More details another time.
  4. Last weekend.. the usual stuff around the house. Shopping, eating out, etc..

So that's about it.

Kat is doing fine. She is recovering from a slight case of viral stomach flu. Poor baby was having watery poop fpr a couple of days. She's recovering now, though not 100% cured yet. I kind of suspect it has something to do with the fact that I changed infant formula. Hmm.. need to investigate further.

Just bought out tickets back home to Malaysia for a holiday in November. A lot of people are bummed that we will be back only for less than 2 weeks, but that's the amount of time that hubby can take off. Anyway, we bought tickets using our miles collected to save some money.. but that means an extra stopover in Singapore, which is loongg..... we will tell you how Kat handles it. Not looking forward to that.
